About Me
I am an independent advisor working at the intersection of organisational strategy, people, and transformation.
Over the past ten years, I have supported organisations across industries in responding to major strategic and organisational change. My work spans people strategy, organisation design, capability building, and implementation, helping organisations translate strategy into action.
Before moving into consulting, I completed a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience / Psychology at the University of Cambridge. This experience continues to shape how I work today: with analytical rigour, curiosity, and a focus on understanding root causes rather than treating symptoms.
I combine structured thinking with a collaborative approach, adapting methods and frameworks to the needs and context of each organisation.
Why You Should Work with Me
I get up to speed quickly.
I familiarise myself with your organisation, your context, and priorities fast, allowing us to focus on delivering value rather than spending weeks on onboarding. I am used to working in new environments and contributing from day one.
I bring an outside perspective.
As an external advisor, I bring clarity and objectivity that is hard to maintain from the inside. I ask the questions that are sometimes difficult to ask internally, and help build shared understanding across stakeholder groups.
I bring structure and methodology.
I apply proven methods, frameworks, and analytical approaches, adapting them to the realities of your situation rather than forcing a predefined model. My clients value my structured thinking and practical tools that create clarity without unnecessary complexity.
I work across organisational levels.
I am equally comfortable engaging with your C-suite and senior leadership on strategic questions and working hands-on with your operational teams to turn ideas into action. This allows me to bridge strategy and execution effectively.
I adapt to the way your organisation works.
Whether acting as a standalone advisor, integrating into an internal team, or contributing to a larger programme, I adapt quickly to your context. I add capacity, maintain momentum, and deliver results without creating additional overhead.
I focus on capability and knowledge transfer.
Where appropriate, I help develop the capabilities of individuals and teams throughout the engagement. The goal is not only to solve your immediate challenge but also to leave your organisation better equipped to continue the work independently.
How I Work
My General Approach
Regardless of the topic, I typically work in three phases. What varies is the emphasis, the methods, and the depth of each phase depending on what the situation calls for.
Discover
First, we’ll discuss your situation together and work out what you need.
Based on that discussion, I start by understanding your organisation, its context, and the challenge at hand.
This involves a combination of document analysis, stakeholder interviews, surveys, and workshops.
I engage stakeholders at all levels and use structured assessment approaches to create a clear, evidence-based picture of the current situation.
Design
Working closely with you and the relevant stakeholders, I develop the strategy, framework, operating model, or design that addresses the challenge.
This phase is genuinely co-creative: I bring structure, analytical rigour, and external perspective; you bring organisational knowledge and context.
I design and facilitate workshops and alignment sessions to build shared understanding and ensure the output reflects both strategic intent and organisational reality.
The goal is always something your organisation can actually work with, not a document that sits on a shelf.
Deliver & Sustain
I translate the design into actionable roadmaps, implementation plans, and practical tools.
Where relevant, I support the change process, helping stakeholders navigate the transition and building internal capability so the work continues to have impact after the engagement ends.
I pay particular attention to knowledge transfer: the organisations I work with should be more capable at the end of an engagement than they were at the start.
